County Executive Glassman has served on the county association's Board of Directors since January of 2015. The 2018 MACo Board was installed by Governor Larry Hogan during the Inaugural Banquet.

"I look forward to continuing my leadership role in MACo as we support and promote all local governments throughout the state before the governor and the Maryland General Assembly," Harford County Executive Barry Glassman said.

The MACo Board of Directors comprises 16 county elected officials. These county leaders are selected by the MACo membership to serve the interests of the Association, oversee its management and strategic direction, and maintain and develop relationships with other parties with whom MACo and counties regularly interact. The Board works collaboratively with the MACo Legislative Committee, which sets policy positions for the Association and directs its legislative advocacy priorities.
